In our first year of business we tried three different nationally recognized hosting companies. Our expectations were simple – good service and timely support. I must confess after being let down on three prior occasions we had little hope that Harvard Host would be any different. But from the beginning things were very different. we received special attention during the initial transition, to the”only client” feeling we get on the occasional support call, working with their team has been a wonderful experience.

With a sea of hosting companies flooding the Internet, my challenge was to pick one of them for our website. With all the Internet companies going belly-up, I knew it would be a gamble. I thought, “I need to find a company within my reach, so that I could go knock on the door if things went wrong.” Needless to say, no qualified company surfaced. Who would I pick? The decision was magnified because I needed a RESELLER program to offer hosting to my existing and future customers. The company I chose would have to be stable enough for our site, as well as, for all of my customers’ sites. So I was not just putting my head on the chopping block, I was putting our entire company’s head on it as well. Thank God, Harvard Host has kept all the sites up – no heads have had to roll as a result. I have recommended them to at least two other companies for their reseller program.

Before selecting a web host, I did a lot of comparison shopping on the web. I have to say that for the price, this is one of the best deals I’ve found online. I get everything I need–lots of web space, unlimited e-mail addresses, MYSQL access, daily statistics and reports, and lots more. Because of this, I’ve been able to have my web site to grow with me and my small at-home business, without it costing me an arm and a leg. More importantly, though. The customer service that I get through Harvard Host has been superb. My questions are always answered thoroughly and promptly (often within an hour). In today’s world of here-today, gone-tomorrow online companies, It is so nice to find someone with staying power who takes care of their clients!

Just wanted to comment on Support help today. My domain renewal was coming up but I did not receive any instructions for renewal or billing. He found out that a proper bill had not been made on my account so it didn’t show up in My Subscriptions. He corrected the issue so that I was able to successfully renew before my expiration day (which was in the next couple of days!) I appreciate his effort, and actions to facilitate the issue for me. My wife and I each have a website for our home based businesses. And, after our previous host disappeared, Harvard host rose to the top of the list very quickly as I compared a dozen or so potential hosting services.
